ABOUT CAPTIKO

Captiko was born in the fall of 2024 and it's a digital design studio run by me, Swedish Freelance Designer Magnus Malmstedt. I'm based in Stockholm, Sweden but can help clients anywhere remotely if needed.

With almost 20 years of experience of digital design from working at agencies, as a consultant and as an inhouse designer it was time for me to start my own business.

Amongst the things I've worked with during my years and that I'm most proud of is an award winning news app for SVT Nyheter and GeoGuessr – a geography game used by millions of users all over the world. Not to forget all the research and design work made in regards of transitioning payment provider in Kivra – the number one app for your important documents used by almost 6 millions swedes.

The name Captiko was born out of the word Capture. The mission for Captiko is to make sure to capture your visions and ideas to help create human-centered products and experiences that accomplish goals and generate business value. I approach design by establishing empathy for the persons behind the product and for those who use the products.
